Additionally, Akelius Foundation has long-term commitments to five projects with SOS Children Villages and UNICEF.
Those projects run typically 25 years.
The donation for each project is SEK 100 million,
SEK 500 million in total.
In December 2022, the Foundation is
still committed to paying the remaining
SEK 293 million in the coming years.
In March 2022 Akelius Foundation together with UNICEF and UNHCR organized donation campaign for Ukraine.
In this campaign Akelius Foundation donated EUR 52 million and Hugo Research Foundation donated EUR 15 million.
Total donation for this Ukraine campaign was
EUR 67 million.
